Pollen Tiles UK – Terms and Conditions 

  1. General Information 
    The catalogues, price lists, and other promotional materials provided by Pollen Tiles UK are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a binding contract. Any price quotations provided by Pollen Tiles UK, its agents, or employees are indicative only and do not constitute an offer to sell. 
  1. Pricing 
    All quoted prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and are subject to change without notice. Invoices will be issued for the month in which the goods are dispatched, and all amounts are due in full upon receipt. Credit extensions are not permitted. 
  1. Late Payment 
    In the event of late payment, Pollen Tiles UK reserves the right to charge interest at 5% above the Bank of England’s base rate from the original due date until payment is made. Non-compliance with payment terms may result in immediate payment demands, including applicable interest. 
  1. Ordering Tiles 
    Tile quantities per square meter or square yard are nominal. It is the buyer’s responsibility to order sufficient tiles for their project, and we recommend adding an extra 10% to account for waste and cuts. 
  1. Delivery 
    Orders will be delivered shrink-wrapped on a pallet to the curbside of your property. Due to insurance regulations, delivery drivers cannot assist in moving tiles inside your property. Orders under 20kg will be delivered by a parcel courier. 
  1. Order Cancellation and Restocking Fees 
    Cancelled orders may incur collection and transport charges. If an order is cancelled after it is in transit, a restocking fee of 33% will apply to cover the costs of returning the pallet to the warehouse. 
  1. Delivery and Risk 
    Orders are accepted, and delivery promises made are contingent on the availability of materials and are not guaranteed. Pollen Tiles UK is not liable for delays caused by manufacturing issues, strikes, accidents, or other factors beyond our control. We advise not booking a tiler until you have received your tiles. 
  1. Claims and Risk of Goods 
    Any claims for shortages or damages must be reported via email or fax within 48 hours of delivery. Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery. 
  1. Tile Shading and Quality 
    Tile shading is an inherent characteristic. Buyers should inspect their tiles before installation, as we cannot accept responsibility for issues after tiles are fixed. We recommend ordering the correct quantity as we cannot guarantee shade consistency between batches. If you are not satisfied with the shade of your tiles, contact us within 30 days of the invoice date. 
  1. Product Suitability 
    The purchase of tiles does not imply suitability for a specific installation. We are only liable for product failure to the extent that the manufacturer offers a guarantee. No tiles are guaranteed against crazing. Ensure the substrate is suitable before installation. 
  1. Returns Policy 
    Returns are accepted within 30 days of the invoice date. For home deliveries, the 30-day period begins upon delivery. Online purchases are subject to a 14-day cooling-off period, during which you can notify us of your intention to return the goods. You then have 14 days to return the items for a full refund. 
  1. Returning Goods 
    Returned tiles must be in resalable condition. We recommend repacking the tiles on the original pallet and securing them to prevent movement during transit. Photographs of the tiles before and after wrapping are advised. Refunds must be collected from the branch where the goods were purchased. 
  1. Sample Tiles 
    Small cut sample tiles are available for £0.99 each and will be 10cm x 10cm in size. Some exclusive tiles may not have samples available on the product page; please consult our sales team for assistance. 
  2. Batch/Shade Variations 
    The tiles you receive may differ in batch or shade from those displayed in our branches. 
  1. Ex-Display Items 
    Ex-display items are sold as seen, and no returns will be accepted for these items. 
  1. Privacy Policy 
    Pollen Tiles UK is committed to protecting your privacy. Only authorized employees with a need-to-know basis have access to customer information. We regularly review our systems and data to ensure optimal service. Unauthorized actions against our systems or data will be investigated, and legal action will be taken as necessary.
